Terms of Booking and Cancellation – Kide Hotel by Iso-Syöte

The products sold at the online shop are sold by Kide Hotel by Iso-Syöte (Huoneistohotelli Kide oy), business ID: 2865141-1. Value added tax (VAT) is included in all prices. We reserve the right to change terms and prices.

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION

The products are reserved through the internet from the online shop of Kide Hotel by Iso-Syöte at the website: www.hotellikide.fi.
Reservations can only be made by person of legal age (18 years old or older).
All required information needs to be filled out when making a reservation.  All reservations are confirmed by e-mail, stating the prices and purchased products. The confirmation e-mail requires that the e-mail address has been provided during the purchase process. The person making the booking agrees to adhere to the terms of booking and cancellations valid for the booking. In case the person making the booking does not receive their confirmation e-mail, they should contact the hotel as soon as possible at: kidehotel@isosyote.com

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

The hotel room is available for check-in starting at 16.00 on the date of arrival and the check-out must be done on the date of departure by 10.00. Valid check-in and check-out times may vary. Persons staying at the hotel must be able to provide valid means of identification upon request. For security reasons the hotel rooms can only be accessed by the person who has checked in to the hotel. The maximum room capacity must not be exceeded.

PETS AT THE HOTEL

Pets are welcome to stay at the hotel. The hotel charges a pet fee for pets staying at the hotel according the current price list. Pets staying at the hotel must be reported when booking. There is a limited number of pet rooms available for reservation. The person who has checked in with a pet is personally responsible for the wellbeing of the pet and for any damages and expenses the pet might cause the hotel or its other customers. Pets must not cause disturbance to other hotel customers.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Services are paid for in full during the booking process. The online shop accepts payments using general Finnish authentication services or Visa/MasterCard credit cards.

TERMS OF CANCELLATION

The accommodation is paid for in full during the booking process at the online shop of Kide Hotel by Iso-Syöte at www.isosyote.fi.  Cancellations are done using the cancellation link in the booking confirmation.

Cancellation policies vary according to rates and season. Rate information must be read carefully when making a booking. The possibility of cancellation depends on the terms applied at the time of booking.

Non-refundable rate: both rooms and possible extra services are charged for in full during the booking process, and the booking cannot be cancelled, changed, nor does it give right to any reimbursement. These bookings are only available at the online shop of Kide Hotel by Iso-Syöte: https://www.isosyote.fi/en/kide.

Rates with cancellation rights:

Free cancellation for:

1-9 rooms: 48 hours before check-in date

10-30 rooms: a minimum of 14 days before check-in date

31-60 rooms: cancellation terms and conditions negotiated separately.

Depending on the season, it is possible that only one rate category (non-refundable rate or rate with cancellation rights) is available.

In case the cancellation is due to the customers' or the customers' close relative's serious illness or death, and the cancellation is made before the date of arrival, but after the free cancellation period, the paid amount is refunded, excluding a handling fee of €46. A medical certificate must be provided within two weeks of cancellation, in order to receive a refund. No refund will be made on the basis of certificates delivered later. Cancellation or interruption of the holiday during the stay does not entitle customers to a refund. Medical certificates provided later than two weeks after the cancellation do not give the right to a refund. Cancellations made during the stay or discontinuity of stay does not give the right to a refund in any case.

ACCOMMODATION OF AN UNDERAGE PERSON THROUGH ONLINE RESERVATION

Bookings made through the online shop: https://www.isosyote.fi can only be made by a person of legal age (18 years old or older).
The person making the booking for accommodation and services for a minor is fully responsible for the conduct of the minor on hotel premises, regardless of whether the person who has made the booking is staying at the hotel with the minor or not. An minor staying at the hotel without a guardian must be able to show a written permission of stay, written by the guardian. A minor person staying at the hotel without guardian, must be able to present a valid identity document during the stay upon request. The guardian's contact information is always required when a minor stays at the hotel. The guardian is responsible for providing their contact information to the hotel in writing before the check-in of the minor.

CUSTOMER'S BEHAVIOR AT THE HOTEL

Customers must comply with good manners and the rules and regulations of the hotel. In case a customer does not comply with the hotel rules, the customer can be removed from the hotel immediately. If a customer is removed from the hotel, accommodation and services are not refunded and all the booked and ordered services must be paid in full.

CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY OF DAMAGE

Customers are fully responsible for any damages caused intentionally or due to carelessness (e.g. smoking in the room), by customers, customers' guests or customers' pets to the hotel room or other hotel facilities, hotel furniture, or accessories, or to other hotel customers or their possessions. The liability for damages is determined according to the general principles concerning indemnity.

HOTEL'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR CUSTOMER'S POSSESSIONS

Customers can store belongings in the safety box located inside their hotel room or in the locked storage spaces for luggage or sport equipment which are for hotel guests. Customers are responsible for their own belongings. The hotel does not take any responsibility for belongings stored in the hotel room's safety box. The hotel does not take any responsibility for vehicles parked in the hotel's parking lot or for misplacement of or damage to any possession inside the vehicle.

INSURANCE

We highly recommend that our customers to have a proper travel insurance policy for possible exceptional situations or emergencies. The hotel has no obligation to accept cancellations without cancellation fees, even when based on medical situations.

FORCE MAJEURE

Kide Hotel by Iso-Syöte has the right to cancel a booking when cancellation is due to so called force majeure (the hotel cannot provide the purchased services due to a strike, fire, water damage, natural catastrophe, terrorism, war, etc., when the hotel's capability to function is impaired). In cases of force majeure, all payments are refunded in full.

IN ADDITION

Kide Hotel by Iso-Syöte reserves the rights to change the terms of booking and cancellation. The customer must read and understand the valid terms of booking and cancellation before finalizing the booking. Kide Hotel by Iso-Syöte considers all customer information fully confidential.
